Beloved

Huh... I don't think I've ever used that word. It sounds... a bit flowery or old fashioned to my ears.

I'm trying to use it in a sentence and it's not coming to me. The closest I came was "Bewitched" ;)

(PS: I know the word, I just don't use it! I don't like it for some reason. It seems a bit "much.")

Oh no, it's fabulous. An older (English) teacher at work once asked me, "And how's your beloved?". . . i dunno probably just the English teacher in me but it sounded so sweet. I knew I should've been doing the One word thing.
Also, really liking "Keeping my words" didn't get it at a first. . .must be a hormone thing. . .

Re the word, maybe it is the English teacher in you. Though you did say that an older teacher once said it to you. That's kind of where I imagine it. As part of an older era.

You'll just have to write a post on that now :)
