Canvas
"White. A blank page or canvas... So many possibilities."
If I became an artist, it'd be such a mess. Large canvases all over the place... The problem with creating art is figuring out where to store it. What to do with it when it's done. I couldn't just paint over it. I created it! I'd want to save everything.

I just started to dabble in collage recently (thanks to doing The Artist's Way) and I'm already running into that problem, which I suspect is slowing me down from doing more of them. (Also, being poised to move house isn't helping.) I like to look at them but I don't particularly feel the urge to display them. And I can't imagine giving them away. I tried to stick to a small art journal, but it just wasn't a big enough space.

Yeah, see? That'd be my issue too! And displaying things isn't always the answer because often each one is meant to be on it's own, not with the 300 other ones as a giant wall mosaic! Hmmm... although.... ;)
